It has been a quiet year… but also a full one.
After our last project fell through, we went back to work. Quietly, carefully, with the same conviction that brought us here in the first place: that every person deserves to belong… and that safe and supportive housing is where it can begin.
Today we get to share something that has been hard to hold in.
We have two extended-stay hotels under contract: one in Urbandale and one in West Des Moines. Together, they would create nearly 200 units of supportive housing in a genuine regional effort spanning Polk County. We are deep in due diligence and working with both cities on site approvals. There is still real work ahead of us.
But something is moving that wasn’t moving a year ago. And you deserve to hear it from us first.
More is coming, including the launch of a capital campaign to make these campuses a reality. For now, we just wanted you to know.
